Electrical supply

The data center has two electrical assaults independent from 15 MVA proceeding from two different origins. Before coming to the teams, the energy always happens for the UPS infrastructure to assure a clean, leaked and uninterrupted feeding.

Before any incidence of the company of electricity, the electrical supply remains guaranteed by a system of uninterrupted feeding formed by the batteries of the UPS with a support of the generating groups back-Up diesel. Contracts of high availability have been signed for the diesel supply within 8 hours. Generators Caterpillar (n+1) of back-up diesel with fuel storage to guarantee the continuous supply 24 hours to maximum load.

Air conditioning and environmental control panel

Automatic balanced and redundant system (n+1) of precision air conditioning. The temperature tolerances are of 22ºC ± 2ºC (adaptably). The refreshed air is pumped under the elevation of the soil, for bombs redundant and it extracted by the roof across the air extractors. The air conditioning units estánn equipped of: humidificador, ventilation, microprocessor of temperature and control of moisture, sensor of liquid, remote control, manometric pressure and filters.

The high technical Soil allows a vertical clearance on the 29 cm soil. He supports up to 1.500 Kg / m ² of load with the columns of support connected to ground in all his extension and offers antistatic characteristics.

Systems of Protection and Extinction of Fires

Prevention and Detection of Fires

The Data center is provided with detection systems for sensibility and systems of suppression of fires based on inert gas like the first defense line against the fire. The Rooms of the building are formed in turn by resistance walls to the fire (RF60). The detection system is based, on the one hand, on the optical detection devices by laser, and on the other hand, on an Alarm of Detection of Instantaneous Smokes (VESDA) to detect particles in the air or other changes in the ambience of the facilities. In case there was a source of excessive heat, this system allows to the Center of Control to be informed immediately about the presence of smoke and to adopt the suitable measurements. He gets ready of a direct line with the Fire department in case of emergency.

Suppression of Fires

They have installed to themselves systems of suppression of fires by means of Gas in all his facilities. The type of secondhand Gas is an inert gas (INERGEN), based on the national regulations according to the place of the building. All the facilities are equipped with fire extinguishers, as the national regulations order.

Safety control of access and alertness

The systems of safety, control of access and alertness continue the most strict standards. The building is provided with the following accident control measures:

1. Observers' presence in the building 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

2. Control of Accesses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

3. Identification and record of all the earnings to the building.

4. Doors use human sluices and cabins of restriction of accesses.

5. Alone authorized personnel and registered clients have access to the authorized areas.

6. Norms and safety Procedures and performance for the whole personnel and visits of the building.

7. The safety areas use specific alarms and accesses with codified cards.

8. Monitoring and visual pursuit of all the facilities by means of CCTV (closed Circuits of Television) and web - cams.

Network and connectivity

The optical fibre comes from 2 different and independent access points to the building. The cables salvers guide the fibre from the above mentioned points of entry to the building up to the BFP (Flexible Point of the Building), which are those points in which the exterior wiring transforms in wiring for internal use in the building.

The System of Structured Wiring assures the ideal management and improves of the connectivity in the Data center. This type of installation (structured wiring), it facilitates and allows the traffic between networks of a rapid and easy way.
